FREE Webinar: Mindfulness at Work
Join the University of Minnesota's Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing for an introduction on mindfulness at work. A growing body of research has begun to point to the numerous benefits of mindfulness practice. Studies indicate that mindfulness helps enhance emotional and physical resilience, improve decision-making, and connect us more positively to other people.

This session led by Mindfulness and Wellbeing Instructor Mariann Johnson will include an introduction to mindfulness, and will explore the ways in which mindfulness relates to essential workplace skills, such as regulation, resilience, and cognitive flexibility.

Mariann Johnson is a wellbeing and mindfulness instructor for the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing. Prior to joining the Bakken Center, Mariann served as a mindfulness facilitator and manager for Moment Health, a UnitedHealth Group Ventures program, and as a founding and senior instructor for the Institute for Mindful Leadership, originally piloted out of General Mills, Inc. Mariann has practiced mindfulness meditation for over 25 years and studied with national and international leaders in the field. She completed extensive Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher training through the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts, founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
