Join us for CTS's Freight 101 Webinar Series, being held in conjunction with our 2025 theme of "Unpacking Freight: From Producers to Front Doors." The six-webinar series will explore the importance of the freight system to Minnesota and offer a glimpse into how key freight modes work in our state. It will feature leaders from the overall freight system as well as trucking, aviation, maritime, rail, and urban logistics sharing their thoughts about the opportunities and challenges facing the freight industry. This webinar features discussion about freight rail in Minnesota. We'll hear from both the largest class 1 rail company in the state, with Lydia Underdahl from BNSF, and from a leader in the short-line rail space, with Mark Wegner from Twin Cities and Western Railroad. Together they'll draw a picture of how freight rail works in our state, how it interacts with other modes, and where the system may head in the future.
