Description

Our Program Co-Director will be presenting information on both the Master of Arts in Integrative Health and Wellbeing Coaching and the Certificate in Integrative Therapies and Healing Practices-Health Coaching Track programs at the meeting.

During this presentation we will cover our program philosophy, discuss what a health coach does (and why they are needed), board certification requirements, course curriculum, and give an application overview. Time will also be available for questions and answers.

Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing) Theresa is the Co-Director of the Integrative Health and Wellbeing Coaching Program at the University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing. She teaches most of the core coaching classes as well as coaching skills advancement coursework. She is also founder of Your Deeper Calling Coaching and Consulting. She became a NBC-HWC in July 2018 after 16 years of coaching experience. She partners with Michele Rae at the Center Within to provide Continuing Education programming for NBHWC. She serves on the Group Competency Taskforce at NBHWC and the ICF Minnesota Board. Theresa has been a nurse since 1995 in a variety of settings including inpatient cardiac/oncology/medical units, hospice, public health and school nursing, long-term care, traveling nursing, education of CNAs and LPNs at a technical college, wellness and holistic program coordination, clinical management, and process improvement/system level project management.
