The Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility hosts the Global Health Case Competition, an interprofessional student learning competition for students to gain simulated professional experience while building a network of interdisciplinary students that will soon become their colleagues. As part of the 2022 case competition, teams of 4-6 students from at least three University of Minnesota colleges or schools will have one week to work on a case featuring a global health challenge. Each team will create a video presentation to submit at the end of the week for the first round of competition. Through the review process, a panel of judges will select the top teams to present their case solution live during the final round.
We are hosting a virtual information session on October 13, 2021 for interested students to learn more about the case competition logistics and learning objectives. A previous UMN Global Health Case Competition winner will also join us to share their perspective and provide advice on how to excel in the competition.
